1961 Econoline Pickup From Tin Man Fabrication, Inc.
This 1961 Econoline pickup is going to get a little Tin Man massage... Make it look the way it should...
First we will drop out the wheel wells and make a little space for a bit more foot print. In the future the rear bumper will go away, and a smoothie tailgate and tailpan will look right at home on the back end... Say good bye to the backup lights too....
Will will have enough room for a 13 inch wide tire in the back now...
We need to change the stance of this little truck. The look of a 4x4 in a 2 wheel drive truck doesnt work for us or the owner, so we lost the old rear axle and parallel leafs to make space for the 8.8" and the ladderbar rear suspension and the new coilovers... We dropped the back of this truck 3-4 inches
A side profile of the rear suspension...
That made a different for tire clearance...
Nothing like taking the motor and trans out... Out of the bottom that is... Making room for a small block Ford and an overdrive transmission...
It still could come down in the front. But it runs and drives. The customer will finish the rest.
