You’ve seen the magazines do it, now we are going to show you our version on this popular concept. Take one albeit clean, great looking 67 Mustang with an anemic six-cylinder and wimpy manual transmission, throw in some modern technology, trick Tin Man Fabrication components — then watch out!
We’re performing simple upgrades that can be achieved by the average car guy on a budget. Here is a list of what we have and what we are going to do:
- 1967 Ford Mustang coupe (six-cylinder, three speed manual)
- Driveline donor: 1988 Ford Mustang (302 H.O. V8, T5 manual, 8.8” rear)
- New parts from the Tin Man’s inventory: Subframe connectors, driveshaft loop, motor mounts
- New polyeurethane bushings, sway bars, disc brakes, wheels and tires
Check back for future updates to Tin Man’s Project Mustang to see how we transform this plain Jane classic into a muscle bound road warrior!
