This '51 Chevy came to us right from Grandmas garage. It needed a few repairs but other wise was complete and solid. The new owner ( the tail dragin old school guy he is) needed some changes to make it fit his image.
The top needed to come down in a custom style. 4 inches would be the ticket.
May be we should have done a convertible.
The top is down and the rear glass is leaned back. You can see that there was a bit of repair that was done over the rear wheel well openings.
The donor front roof panel is in place and we can see what its going to look like.
Here you can see how we grafted the donor roof into place.
The headlights had to be frenched for this car to look right.
Thats better!
The car went back to the owner like this. He built the complete drive line himself and did a great job. Note the chopped vent windows.
