This '57 Chevy was brought in for a disc brake conversion, new clutch, new floor boards and rocker panels and other underside repair. The car was an old restoration and some of the floor had been repaired previously and was in need of rework.
Much of the old floor boards on the driver's side have been cut out. Much of the front portion looks rusty, but is still solid. The floor bracing was all in poor shape and will be replaced.
Here is the drivers floor after some Tin Man tlc. No more worries about having to pull a Flintstones to stop...
This is a view of the passenger side floors where the old patch work was removed. No repairs have yet been done by Tin Man.
This passenger side rocker panel needed a complete overhaul. As you can see from the additional pictures below, someone was creative and used Coke cans to fill in holes. We cut out all the old and fabricated/replaced the new.
