This is a 1940 Buick Model 40 that is undergoing a full frame of restoration...
The body is in pretty nice shape, a little damage in the wheel wells at the fender mounts, the tailpan, and one lower cowl section, but nothing a few hours wont fix!
Getting stripped of the power plant and getting ready to go to blasting...
With the body off the chassis, we are prepping the vehicle for sandblasting...
This is going to be a original restoration, so a lot of baggies will be used keeping every nut and bolt organized....
Ready to go to the blaster, and lose 80 years of dirt and grease...
Back from the blaster and wearing a nice new coat of chassis black paint!
Here we have the body back from blasting and mounted on our Auto Twirler rotisserie, being able to move the car in any angle makes those underside repairs much easier!
