Tin Man developed a unique style of subframe connectors that fit 1965-1973 Mustang hard tops, convertibles, even 1967-1970 Mercury Cougars!
They are the most robust on the market being made of 2" x 2" x 11 gauge steel and are bent to follow the contours of the floor pans. No cutting of the floor pan is necessary. This product drastically stiffens the body of the vehicle.
Below is a link of a customer who used our connectors and was very pleased! He provides details for installation. Thank you, Mr. Bauder for sharing this with our customers.

New from Tin Man Fabrication — Our precision made drive shaft loop for 1965 to 1973 Mustang coupe and fastback models work in conjunction with our subframe connectors. A safety must for anyone making power and looking to drag race. This part is NHRA legal, it will not fit other models without modification.
Traction is the key to going quick, and places great strain on the driveshaft when running slicks or DOT drag radials. To prevent the driveshaft from breaking at the front U-joint area and perhaps coming into the interior of the car, or digging into the track and pole-vaulting the car, NHRA mandates that a steel loop be placed just behind the front U-joint of the driveshaft.
