Tin Man created his own hood hinge system in 1999 when he was building his own 1936 Ford Coupe. He was looking for an easy permanent solution to raise the hood so that it remained suspended without coming in contact with the car once it was lifted. This system is one that easily lifts from the front, and slides forward and lifts to expose the engine compartment.
